The desktop background in Sitecore is similar in appearance and functionality to Windows XP desktop. In our example, the background has the keyboard image set as wallpaper. However, Sitecore allows customizing the desktop background. It is possible to add background images, change the background color, place icons on the desktop and much more.

The desktop background in Sitecore can be changed in a way that is similar to the way that the Microsoft Windows desktop image is changed
